Tall BeardedBUCKSKIN BABENEW 2012 INTRODUCTION
hybridized in Canada
Blooms late season
- This is one statuesque babe at 96cm (38"), with large, dusky orange flowers and a blush of rosy-violet on her shoulders flanking a perky tangerine-orange beard. She's also superbly branched with an excellent bud count to give you a long season of bloom.
TALL BEARDED IRIS
After many years absent from our catalogue, a selection of these wonderful plants are back at last. In our continuing efforts to showcase local talent, all are grown in Canada. These are SUPER HARDY plants.
There are few perennials as well known as Tall Bearded Iris. A stalwart of Canadian gardens for generations, they are adored for their tall spikes of exotic June flowers. Bearded Iris are very forgiving plants, growing well in a range of soils from sandy to clay, from full sun to partial shade. These heralds of summer are best planted in late Summer.
We start shipments of our field grown divisions in August
