PAINTBOXHardy Annual
This new variety has one of the best colour ranges of any Nasturtium
yet; a palette of colour that can be used in borders, baskets, even
in salads! Yes, the leaves and blossoms of nasturtium are edible and
have a peppery, cress-like flavour. A handful of flowers and leaves
can be chopped or blended into a vinaigrette to make a tasty and
appealing salad dressing. Blooms are held well above the attractive
round leaves of this compact annual. Ht 23-30cm (9-12"). Approx. 25 seeds per packet.
One of the easiest of flowers to grow yet one of the prettiest. Thrives in poor soil and adverse conditions. What more could you ask?
Sow: outdoors around last frost date. |
