We get very excited when we find a new colour form of a great plant and this certainly is. Scabiosa is a long-blooming, easy-to-grow perennial that, until now, has only been in shades of blue and white. Now we have long-lasting blooms on wiry stems in tones of burgundy wine with contrasting white tips. It looks fabulous with Campanula, Coreopsis SIENNA_SUNSET and both Dianthus COCONUT_PUNCH and DRAGON_FRUIT. Blooms from late spring through midsummer, even more abundantly if you remove the spent flowers. Grow in average, well-drained soil in full sun. Ht. 60cm (24"), spread 30cm (12"). Hardy to zone 4.
Shipped well-rooted in our 1 litre, extra-deep 4.5” pots.
